Welcome to the inaugural posting on my new Leading Edge blog, and thanks so much  for stopping by! This past Friday, I celebrated 3 yearsas President of Leading Edge Software Solutions (https://lessllc.com/) by unveiling new digs for my office. My hope is that my new surroundings will allow me to be even more efficient and productive for my wonderful clients who have helped me come this far (watch for more about them in future posts!)and to look good doing it! I also hinted on my Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/leadingedgesoftwaresolutions) about exciting things to come in year 4, so here we go, launching a new blog!

In keeping with the mission of the Leading Edge, my mission with this blog is to inspire, educate, motivate and entertain you! How? I'm glad you asked!

I hope to……  Sandy in her new office!

  • Inspire you-by sharing thoughts and stories that inspire me
  • Educate you-by sharing tips and tricks about the Raiser's Edge, passing along information from the non-profit and social media worlds, answering your Raiser's Edge questions, and even offering some FREE training sessions
  • Motivate youby offering up success stories from my clients and other industry professionals
  • Entertain you-by highlighting funny things I hear and see in my travels far and wide. After all, just because it's serious doesn't mean it can't be fun, right?

See how it's all about YOU?

Another mission of my blog is to help get the word out to the non-profit world that they have options when it comes to the resources they use for help with their databases (the Raiser's Egde, the Financial Edge). Options are a good thing, so please tell your non-profit friends that they have choices when it comes to choosing a provider. Even if your not a non-profit pro though, keep coming by because 3 out of the 4 missions listed above apply to you, too!

Here are some things that are in works:

PHEW! It's going to be a busy year! I can't wait to hear from all of you and hope you'll comment and share early and often. Please feel free to comment, make suggestions for future posts, or ask questions. I think this is going to be fun, don't you?
